Has anyone tried this? Xolair is a shot for asthma but can be used for high IgE levels. Dr. Theo replied to my IgE levels with this as a suggestion.

Interesting. I haven't tried it but have heard about it. Let us know if you try it

It's classically used for asthma but has various other off label uses

I've seen a few people post that they were trying it even without high IgE, but don't know if it helped.

I got this last October while I was hospitalized and had an anaphylaxis episode.  They thought this would really help me so they were frustrated that I reacted this way.  They told me after I reacted that there was a black box warning about possible anaphylaxis as a reaction.

Dr. Akin aslo thought that wouldv'e helped if I hadn't reacted so severely.  He said it can help people who have these anaphylaxis episodes.

I am newly diagnosed, but my doctor said that this would be an option for me in the future. I do suffer from asthma as well as MCAD along with allergies to about everything under the moon.
