Thanks for teaching me that if one allergy med doesn't work I should try another one.

I started either having a massive allergy attack or a cold yesterday. Severe runny nose, watery eyes, post nasal drip, feeling hot then cold ...

Yesterday over the span of several hours, I tried 6 chewable children's Benadryl and 2 Zyrtec to no avail. And these have worked for mild symptoms up until this.

BUT then I tried a 180 mg Allegra last night and it worked like a charm. It worked again tonight when my symptoms started up again.  I can breath.  

Before when I tried taking Allegra to see if it would help my regular daily allergy symptoms, it gave me a terrible headache but not this time.  

It's interesting how sometimes one med works where others have failed ... Or a med I'd given up on worked better than the ones I'd gotten accustomed to.
