Hi all,

Our daughter has a doctor confirmed, whopper case, of flu.   So far she has run a fever for 6 straight days.   The doctor thinks that my husband and I are doomed to come down with it.   So far we haven't.   We're taking echinacea and elderberry all through the day, and I'm taking Vit C.   Given that the last time I had the flu it took me 13 months to get back to baseline - I really really really don't want to get this!!  

So - in case I succumb, is it safe to take the Tamiflu medicine when you have masto?   It's suppose to shorten the length of the flu if you take it in the first couple of days.   Our doctors office wants us to come right in at the first sign that we have it.
