If you haven't already I would keep a detailed diary of what you ingest (every single ingredient), what you smell, your stress etc. See if you can sort out patterns. I found going organic and to simple foods/recipes so I knew exactly what I was eating without preservatives etc helped eliminate some variables

Also, triggers of our symptoms if you have mast cell issues do not always show up on allergy tests so it's trial and error. You might want to check out the low histamine diet if you haven't already

Good point Kim, When throat swells, I lay flat quiet, don't speak, try to stay calm and let it settle whilst assessing need for breakthrough meds
