Heather,

When you were on the elimination diet, did you also rotate foods, so you wouldn't become allergic to them?

I only spent four weeks in the really strict phase.  I guess I rotated the meats a little (personal taste... I wasn't told to do that).  I also took little breaks from the rice and sweet potatoes (for a day or two) so I wouldn't HATE them when the elimination diet was over.  After that phase I added foods back in pretty quickly, avoiding these groups:

- Seafood
- Aged/fermented foods
- "Latex" foods (banana, avocado, kiwi)
- "Ragweed" foods (melon, chamomile)
- Gluten (I already knew that was a problem)

Along the way I realized that raw tomatoes make my mouth tingle.  Otherwise I didn't have any problems... and the problem that made me start the elimination diet (abdominal angioedema) is MUCH improved. Smiley
