swelling of hands and feet
09/21/11 at 17:49:16

All of a sudden I am waking up with either my fingertips (on both hands) or my one foot is all swollen. I mean really swollen, at least twice the normal size. Has anyone else had these symptoms.  I am reacting to things maybe a little more than usual--have had a couple of anaphalaxis incidents but on the whole I feel better than I have in years. I also have Castlemans disease so don't know how they will be able to figure out what is causing this. Have a doctors appt tommorrow so thought I would ask you guys for your input. Thanks. Kathie

I've had problems with swelling in my ankles (edema from POTS), but what you're describing sounds more like angioedema... especially the swelling in your fingers.  I hope you get some answers!

My swelling isnt that severe. Plus mine seems constant and for me its ankles, one wrist, patch belowy adams apple, and between each knuckle on both hands. Hope your appt can help figure out whats going on.
