I think that we also need to make VERY, VERY CLEAR here when we are talking about "CURES" for things like chronic Urticaria which is what this "doctor" is talking about on his site.    I took a look at the site and read what he was claiming he could do and I'm understanding what looks so promissing here.  

The kind of urticaria and dermatological itching that he is speaking about is NOT RELATED TO A MAST CELL DISORDER!!   This is something which is VERY different!

There are Mast Cell Disorders which cause angioedema and Chronic Urticaria.  And there are NON-Mast Cell Disorders which cause angioedema and Chronic Urticaria.  THEY ARE NOT THE SAME DISORDERS!!  

The Angioedema and Chronic Urticaria which is caused by a mast cell disorder CAN NOT BE CURED!!   This is because there is something DEFECTIVE with the mast cell and it is GENETIC - it can NOT be fixed, at least not now as far as science knows.  Our researchers are doggedly working towards discoving what is the defect and trying to find a means of fixing it, however, at this point in time, there IS NO CURE!!   You can indeed help to improve things with your diet, but you can not fix it yet.  

What this doctor is claiming is to CURE Angioedema and Urticaria which is NOT of a mast cell disorder!   THIS IS A DIFFERENT THING and it may very well be what he is saying, an over excited immune system response!

However, this being said, due to the fact that this site here is a site focusing upon ONLY  MAST CELL DISORDERS it is VERY IMPORTANT to keep in mind that you can not presume that your Angioedema and Urticaria is not of the mast cell disorder kind until you've had a FULL doctors workup with a doctor who is a SPECIALIST in Mast Cell Disorders FIRST!!   If your doctor who understands MCAD and Systemic Masto and has fully RULED OUT both of these diagnoses and you are still suffering from Angioedema and Chronic Urticaria, THEN you can go on in your journey to find healing.  

You see, the big mistake this "doctor" has made is to say that he can cure ALL Angioedema and Uriticaria and this IS A FALSE STATEMENT!!  He doesn't say anything about the form of Hereditary Angioedema, which is a VERY SERIOUS GENETIC form of Angioedema!!  You can't cure this!!  He's also not talking about the proven autoimmune form of Chronic Urticaria!!  

His claims are FALSE!!!


So, people, please do not fall into the trap of believing everything you read!!   This "doctor" may indeed have found a means of improving and possibly even curing the idiopathic form of angioedema and urticaria, however, he is talking about ONLY ONE FORM and not ALL FORMS for if he is truly meaning ALL forms then he is NOT QUALIFIED as a doctor to be able to make these claims!!  He says that he is a SURGEON!!   If he were REALLY able to cure it, I'm POSITIVE that Dr. Mariana Castells, Dr. Cem Akin, Dr. Lawerence Schwartz and Dr. Dean Metcalfe, who are EACH IMMUNOLOGISTS would have been making these very claims as well!!   Being that they are AUTHORITIES in these allergic types of diseases, they KNOW what is wrong and KNOW how to fix it!!!

So, understanding this, it is VERY, VERY IMPORTANT that patients with mast cell disorders understand the difference and know that while the claims of this "doctor" may be valid in improving your situation, for we all know that foods greatly influence our disease, it will not give you a cure!
