I have taken Claritan reditabs (12 hr) for the past 2 days.  Both days in the middle of the afternoon my throat started tickling really bad in the sunk in spot underneath my adam's apple.  It makes me cough which triggers my asthma.  When the Claritin wears off in the evening, the tickling eases off and goes away.  Could it be the Claritan or an inactive ingredient like the mannitol?
