Antihistamines should help if mast cell activation is the cause... even if that activation is caused by a virus, parasites, food poisoning, etc...  Liquid Benadryl is my best friend Wink

ps - I've had very little diarrhea since I started taking Gastrocrom... a mast cell stabilizer is much better for preventing GI symptoms.

Ponder what you ate that could have possibly given it to you also, think back up to 72 hrs. Eat as bland as possible and hopefully you will be right back to normal Smiley and those antihistimines as Heather said if it is mast related

I have to agree with them. I have Immodium but Ive never used it.. I think if "it" wants out, let it leave LOL better out than in... I also agree that the reason for it has to do with triggering our mast cells, so if Im gonna treat it with anything, it would be another antihistamine.
