What is the difference between taking Allegra vs Zyrtec vs Singular etc...do they all have different affects?? I see that some of you take more than one of these...what is the reason for that.
And the different H2 meds like pepsid or zantac...
I am taking zyrtec and pepsid but wondering if I should add others...
Still dont know exactly what mast cell disorder I have but just trying to control possible episodes right now.

To stabilize our very overactive mast cells, we need the antihsitamines twice a day. Our mast cells are too reactive to just take the medicine once a day.

The masto specialists have found that a combination of different antihistamines work better than the same one twice a day.

Singular, by the way, is not an antihistamine. It is an anti-leukotriene and seems to help chase away many of the remaining symptoms that the antihistamines don't clear up.
