Can a gatrointerologist actually " SEE " mastocytosis during a colonoscopy?  Or....does special staining have to be done on the cells to detect Masto?  I thought the later.  Just looking for intelligent conversation.

You have to stain the sample (with a proper stain)... nobody can see mast cells without staining and magnification!  Roll Eyes
