Niacin causes people without illness to flush when they take it, if you do take it, be very careful.. I wouldnt dare it personally. Good luck !

Okay, I don't think I will try it. I bought it for my hubby because he has been so fatigued lately. I here people talking about how liquid b complex gives you a nice boost. I can definetly use that. Maybe I will get regular b with out niacin.

When I take niacin I turn red, really red and itch all over. I have read that niacin causes histamine release. I have had people ask me where I got the sunburn.

Niacinamide is supposed to be less of a problem, but I'm hesitant to try it myself.  If you find a niacin-free brand of B vitamins, please let me know.  I haven't had any luck, so I'm taking some of them separately.  It gets to be a lot of pills to take!

B12 makes a big difference in my energy level.  I'm going to start Biotin to see if it helps my hair get thicker again.  We'll see.  I also eat cereal enriched with B vitamins, but only the ones without preservatives.

If your husband doesn't have a mast cell disorder, he might not have any problem with niacin.

Melissa;
My mom used to take Niacin?niacinamide and got terrible flushing. My father-in-law has "built up" his intake of it over the years. If your doc. thinks its worth the health benefits, then thats what Id try- building up Slowly... I take sublinguilal B-12 daily for a bit of energy, and it doesnt bother me.
