Josie, I hope you are better soon! Here is my 2 tricks for lowering bad cholesteral and increasing good type.. Eat oatmeal 3 mornings each week and use olive oil in cooking and salads often, that it! Medical staff shake their head at me when they see me with the other health problems, diabetes, overweight---but great cholesteral.

I am back properly now Wink

. Thanks so much for your thoughts .

My cholesterol is now 9 , it was 26 at its highest . This was due to my triglcerides being ramped up with high suagrs ( not enough treatment ).

I narrowly avoided pancratitis. The scary turning your toes up kind . It is a complication of uncontrolled diabetes . I am very relieved as you can imagine .

I eat olive oil only Wink

. I am looking forward to my oat cereal more often Wink

I will try benecol as everything will help Wink

.

I now have an openminded consulatnt who is willing to read and learn about mast cell disease and cholesterol and insulin resistance . he had heard of mastocytosis . I have my expert in the same hospital , with the same secertery .

The staff whilst I was in were lovely , they didn't question my diagnosis which was refreshing .

I am so glad to be back . I ahve missed you all

My new home is lovely . wheelchair accessable . My garden is lush Wink
