I was having occasional calf cramps that would wake me up the pain was so bad.  So last night I took 250mg of a magnesium supplement and a 8oz glass of tonic water (has quinine).  Started flaring a little at night and then had a bad night.  Really warm, ears flaring, my mind going 90 miles a hour.  I did not sleep more than 15 minutes at a time.  got up flared ears and a temo of 99.5.  My temp always goes up with a bad flare.  

I looked on the internet and guess what... Quinine is a potential trigger.  I guess I need to do a little rsearch before taking anything new.  i just thought that tonic water was pretty benign.

So I am on my max antihistamine and stabilizers and drinking lots of water to flush out the quinine.  If it gets any worse I will start taking some prednisone.... But I hate taking that stuff.
