Does anyone have any information regarding mast cells and Multiple Sclerosis?
I have a friend w/ MS who, after surgery, nearly died. when she asked me "what happened?" I started to look up MS and anesthesia. Lo and Behold! I came across Dr. Theo's site and found a connection between mast cells and MS. NOW- this was before my latest round and MONTHS before my own diagnosis...but it was what lead me to my diagnosis!

That said this woman needs another knee replacement and I'm looking for good research on MS, mast cells and such links. I have the print outs on mast cells and anesthesia/surgery to give her but also want to be well read up before we sit for an anesthesia consult.

Basically I want to sound like I know what I'm talking about.
