I was wondering if it is safe to take tamiflu?
I am having flu symptoms, that just started last night.
I appreciate your input.

I moved this topic to the general discussion category so that more of you will see it. Julie will need a quick answer if anyone has experience with Tamiflu and mast cells. So, please respond if you have any knowledge!

Thanks!!

I haven't taken it, but my doctors have prescribed it.  Best to check the additional ingredients.  Here is an article that describes how it's made and works:  [url]http://www.edinformatics.com/interactive_molecules/tamiflu.htm/url]

There are others.  If you have a mast cell doctor or other doc who understands MCAS, it might be a good idea to ask him/her about it.
