Can anyone provide details on what it takes to find out if one has mast cell disorder? Is there a simple test or tests to determine?

Generally

Review of systems (symptom review in every body system)

Exclusion of mimicking disorders

Serum Tryptase, 24 hour urine N-methylhistamine and prostaglandin D2 as a start

Depending on that, if tryptase up, may require bone marrow biopsy
