  If you've decided to go to Boston to see the specialists there, you would want to see Dr. Cem Akin or Dr. Mariana Castells, and the number is:  617-732-9850 to make an appointment.

  If you can't get to Boston, I called the Albany Medical Center, and Dr. Jocelyn Celestin is a doctor who said he treats patients with SM.  I don't know much about him, except that he did a Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Harvard, so has a good background in his field, and he can contact the experts in Boston if he needs additional information.

  Val is the person who schedules for Dr. Celestin.  Be sure to tell her that's who you want to see.  I only told her that you'd had problems since you were a baby and suspected a mast cell disorder.  The number to Val's office is:  518-264-2510.  Be sure to also tell her what your current diagnosis is.

  Since he's an allergist and immunologist, he should be able to help you with your other respiratory problems, too.  If you go to see him and have any questions about anything he tells you, feel free to post them here.
