I was curious if any of you have high serum B12 levels with SM or MCAD?  I had a B12 level of 471 two years ago when I started getting really symptomatic.  The last time it was checked, my b12 was 1160. I don't do any injections or anything like that.  I was taking Emergen C for a little while to help my immune system.  That has B12 in it but my understanding is that B12 is water soluble and any excess should be flushed from your body. My PCP and cardio tell me that they don't worry about high serum B12.  I tried to research it and got a little nervous about what I read.  Just curious if anyone else has had high serum B12 levels?  My CBCs are normal except for hemoglobin and hematocrit sometimes being just outside of high normal.
