These are teff scones and can be made a couple of different ways, again It's does not have things in it to make it fluffy, and overly moist, it will form a blob but will be crumbly when eating!
We can only do so much with such little ingredients!
350 degree oven
This recipe was adaped from
www.teffco.com/mocha_teff_scones.html1 1/4 cups teff flour
1/4 cup water, coffee or apple juice
1/2 TBS baking powder ( I have a baking powder recipe posted)
1TBS vanilla if you can tolerate
1TBS arrowroot
1/4 cup olive or grapeseed or oil of your tolerance!
1/4 cup of maple syrup
1/3-1/2 cup of dried cranberries ( no oils in dried fruit if you are intolerant, read ing!), or enjoy life choc chips, or a lot of times I just have them plain
Mix dry ingredients, then put in wet, mix well add dried fruit of your liking or chips, put onto greased pan in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Makes anywhere from 6 to 8. I use an ice cream scoop to scoop these onto the pan also to put my muffin batter in a muffin pan.
Apple juice w/ the cranberry one for a decent mix
coffee/ w choc chips for a mocha type scone
you can also dollop a spoonful of a jam/jelly you could tolerate in the center being sure it won't "bubble" out while cooking.
these work well for me as a breakfast/and lunch when I'm on the run,
bobs red mill makes all of these flours
