Tips for the setting up your profile and preferences on the forum

Uploading a profile picture:
1. Go to User CP in the tabs at top of forum (in clack with green writing).
2. On left side, new tabs appear. Choose profile tab.
3. Click Options
4.Under "Personalized picture", you will see a browse button. That allows you to upload your photo from your computer.

Setting a signature saying:
1. Go to User CP in the tabs at top of forum (in clack with green writing).
2. On left side, new tabs appear. Choose profile tab.
3. Click Options
4. Under "Signature" add what you would like it to say under your posts.

Setting the forum to show your local time:
1. Go to User CP in the tabs at top of forum (in clack with green writing).
2. On left side, new tabs appear. Choose profile tab.
3. Click Options
4. Look at "Preset time format" and determine how many hours ahead or behind the time showing is from your local time.
5. Now go to "Time offset" and set it to your local time by either subtracting or adding the hours and minutes.

How to receive notifications of new posts in threads that you have posted in:
1. Go to User CP in the tabs at top of forum (in clack with green writing).
2. On left side, new tabs appear. Choose profile tab.
3. Click Options
4. Under "Post and board notifications" you will be asked if you want to be notified of new posts via email. Click "yes".

Do not change the template
1. You may be tempted to change your template under the options. Trust me, you won't like the other templates that the forum originally came with. I have designed the black, green, and white one which you are currently viewing (labeled, "Debbie4"). Don't change it from that if you want all of the functions and colors that you currently have.

Buddy Lists
1. The Buddy List section of the profile gives you the ability to add other members that your frequently contact to a list that will show in your User CP view.
2.Your Buddy List will display each name, their Online/Offline status, and link options to send the user a PM, an e-Mail, or visit the link to their website.
3. Add users to your Buddy List by clicking on the link below the Buddy List display box.
4. Delete users from your Buddy List by double-clicking on their user name inside the Buddy List display box.

Many other forum features, definitions, and explanations can be found by clicking the black tab at the top of the forum, titled "Help". It is next to the "Home" tab. Under the "User help" section you can learn about all sorts of things that you can do you personalize how you use and view the forum.
