Dr. Hey Jin Chong has "mast cell disorders" listed under her clinical specialties so I emailed her and she said she is familiar with mastocytosis and MCAS, and trained under Dr. Akin and Dr Castells in Boston. She typically doesn't see adults except in "certain circumstances".

"I am happy to see physician referrals for suspected mast cell diseases as well as confirmed cases, and I have a few adults with mastocytosis that I follow as well who have had bad experiences elsewhere."

Bruce, thanks for posting this doctor's info. I have been considering looking for a pediatric mast cell doctor for my 6 year old son. I really appreciate the info. Hope things are improving for you.
