So I have had "MCAS" for over two years now and have been on a combination of Prednisone, Clarinex, Benadryl, Zyrtec, Cromolyn, Ketotifen, Plaquenil, and Ranitidine for almost a year. These medicines seem to help when added, but then it's like my body gets used to them and then I need more or to add another one. My Allergist just added Cyclosporine 100mg to the mix. I have been on it for almost three weeks now and have noticed a slight difference, but am getting painful stomach pains and nausea and sweating daily. Has anyone else tried Cyclosporine for MCAS? Did it help? Side effects?
