Title: Just when I've thought that I've seen it all..

OK.. now, I've got Helicobacter pylori and my GI specialist started me on Controloc (proton pump inhibitor, pantoprazolum), Ospamox (amoxicillinum) and Fromilid (clarithromycinum). Today morning I've took the first batch. First I have to take Controloc, then wait for an hour and then take that two antibiotics. One hour after Controloc I was fine. Then I've took the antibiotics and started feeling stomach pain. I've went back to bed and just before I've fallen asleep again I've started feeling strange bitter taste in my mouth. I woke up one hour later, still having that taste but my stomach felt better. Few hours later stomach pain resolved but I still have that taste in my mouth. Oh come on! And it's soon gonna be the time for my next batch of antibiotics. I've checked meds list of contraindications, both antibiotics can cause change in taste and stomach pain, but drug manufacturers say it's not life threatening and that there's no need for doctors intervention. I'm really with luck to pick strange symptoms and problems! Not fair :( Also fever kicked in, I'm not sure is that masto or drug thing now because that drugs can cause it too, at least so their respective patient manual(s) say.

Any advices? I'm supposed to be on this meds for three months.. I'll still contact my hematologist and probably GI specialist for help and opinions.

I suggest you call your doctor (or the doctor on-call) and report your symptoms, especially the fever.  It could be un-related to the infection, but might be.  Ask if you can take the medicines with food, and that might help the stomach pain.  It sounds like a side effect rather than a reaction to the meds.  I hope this lessens with time.

Getting rid of the H pylori might relieve some of the symptoms you've attributed to mast cell issues.  I hope so anyway!
