yup coughing, short of breath, chest tighntess

always hated it but now that i'm sick i react to it

For me it's feeling of exhaustion, pain in sinuses and headache, nausea, burning/irritated eyes, tears, burning in throat and pharynx, reduced breathing, being nervous and snappy..

I'm a smoker and HATE the smoke. When people meet me and then find out I'm a smoker they always are shocked because I don't smell like a smoker. I always smoke outside (regardless of the weather) and I always turn so the smoke carries on the wind AWAY from me. I used to smoke a pack or slightly more a day. But in the last couple months I have experienced tongue burning when I smoke. Needless to say that I have cut back to 1/2 a pack a day and I think I might even quit!

I smoke also and am wondering if it is causing symptoms for me. Looks like I will be quitting too. Yucky bad habit :)

So glad people are talking about quitting. It is undeniably disastrous for your health in so many ways, but I can imaging extremely difficult to quit once addicted. Good luck to all of you!

You can do it, J! Maybe research the best ways to quit, and then go for it! That might solve some of your mast cell problems, you never know!!

Cigarettes are so bad for you. So many carcinogens in there... get off them ASAP and don't look back... trust me on this.

I get histamine/migraine headaches from just a whiff of cigarette smoke from someone smoking a block away.

for all you who are going to try quitting, just be careful. I tried and was on Chantix and after of being on it a month and being so sick for a month I went off it. Finally figured it out, it reacts badly w/ masto. It thought back then I was going to die
