you have to ask the doctor you are meeting for the first time if he knows anything about Mast Cells and he looks at you with a totally BLANK FACE!!!

....when you stand in the middle of the grocery store knowing that you are there for some strange reason but as hard as you try you can't figure out what it is you need, why you are even there, nor what you must do!! All you do is stand there saying to yourself....WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME????!!!

Grocery stores are a big trigger for me - too much input - I go into OVERLOAD!! :P

......you have to consider where every bathroom is located in case of an emergency!

....... when your friends and family begin saying - Hey, you're turning all red, do you need more medicine?

........ when everyone who sees you red and doesn't know you well says, Oh, you look so healthy! I never would have thought you were sick!!!!!!

;-) grocery stores are a no for me now . All the others are bang on ;-)

...............when you sit in your car on a lovely day with the aircon on and the safe air circulating ;-)

.......................you avoid bathrooms which are too clean ;-)

....................... when going commando ( no undergarments ) is a health choice

............ when you keep a hospital bag even though you are not expecting ;-)

I am having a bad day , so these bits make me laugh ;-)

You come up with cute nicknames for your pills, like "Mr. Bene", and greet them like old friends when you find them in the dryer lint after doing your laundry.

You can recite "what a mast cell disorder is" to the EMT's (under brain fog no less) with the ease of saying the "Pledge of Alligience".

You know all the medications that the vet prescribed to your friend's allergic dog.

You wonder when Cover Girl will get with the program and put some steroid cream base in their "Invisible Concealer." ;)

Worse is when you know HOW to medicate that poor dog and tell your neighbors what to give him! ::)

..........you tell your doctor you have "brain fog," and he looks at you as though HE has it!!

..........you see the airport security people do a double-take and call for assistance when they see the 4 epipens in your purse on their screen!

Hi all :-)

many brain fogged doctors . I helped the most recant one on , by saying I can't remember what channel I am on or the programme during the 2 minute ad break xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

This has cheered me so much ;-) I have had a challenging day sorting my teenaged kids toys from the past yrs . I am moving to a bungalow ;-) in 2 weeks and needed to sort there things . they are struggling with my illness , so haven't been over in a while . It will sort itself ;-) but is hard none the less .

So humor is so lovely . I am very into any comedy at the moment ;-)

You know you have a mast cell disease , when a bag of peas has more practical qualities , for reducing swelling , than gastronomic .

When you convert your old drinks cabinet to your medicine cabinet as it holds bottles perfectly !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
