I hadn't been on in awhile but when I was a few weeks back this was happening and is happening today too. When I go to post a comment it just loads forever and ever, nothing happens, if I hit refresh it will post my comment and I will still have it up in the box I am typing but at least it posts! I'm figuring no one else is having this issue? I use mozilla firefox, maybe that's it. Didn't used to be an issue, could just be a coincidence.

Hi Sandi,

I was having problems with Mozilla until I downloaded the latest upgrade.  Now it seems a lot better and faster.

Sandi,

I was having the same problem; and for me Mozilla updated 3 times in a row when I launched it before it seemed to work properly...  I hope that updating fixes your problem.

Hi Laurie!! Everything is working properly. I got your messages, but have been so busy I could only read them on my phone. Was just waiting to get to my computer to respond, because it is so much easier to type there. (On my phone right now). I will get on my computer and write you back today!! :)

Sandi, it must be that you are using Mozilla, and there isn't anything I can do if Mozilla is causing problems.  Explorer doesn't seem to have those problems. You could always try Explorer.

I switched back to Explorer, because my Mozilla was acting crazy and slow!

Hi Deborah,

I seem to have lost all my Personal Messages, and the ability to send any.

When I log on at the top of the screen it welcomes me by name, but doesn't list my # of messages anymore.   When I go to User CP it lists things like my contact info, profile, members, but no messages.

Thanks for any help!
Oh - and I'm using Windows Vista & IE 8, but that's what I've been using all along.

Just an idea here. At the top of your main page you will see the HOME/HELP/SEARCH/USER CP/LOG OUT row of links. Sometimes you wil look at that row of links and see "UPDATE SESSION". If you click on it, you get a screen that wants you to log in again.  Even if you dont, if you are having problems posting here or accessing your messages, try logging out and logging in again--that will renew your "session" so the board will remember who you are again for your messages and posting abilities. Hope this helps :)

Mine's off, too, and there's nothing about updating the session.

Try logging out, then log back in again.

Hi Ramona,

Thanks for the suggestion.   I just tried it, logged out and back in, but no change.   Do you have your private messaging?   If you do then it's not off for everyone.   Strange.

Messaging is missing for everyone, even me. Working on it! Hope to have it up soon. Just check back.

Thank you Deborah, for fixing the problem!   And, for all the hard work you do to maintain this forum, which is such a help for the rest of us!

Lots of big smiles!   :) :) :)
